Check before yuh buy. Some items can't fly at all. Others can come in, but only with a permit from a Jamaican agency. If you're not sure, message us before you check out. It's much easier than sorting it out after the package lands.

Items we can't ship

These are banned by airline safety rules or Jamaican law. If one arrives at our warehouse, we won't ship it (see what happens below).

  • Two-way radios, signal boosters and transmitters

Drones need Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority approval; radio equipment may need the Spectrum Management Authority.

Other restricted goods

  • Pesticides and some chemicals
  • Knives, crossbows and other weapons not listed above
  • Commercial quantities of any item

Message us and we'll point you to the right agency.

Items that can ship with care

What happens if you ship something on this list

  1. We'll contact you as soon as we spot it at the warehouse.
  2. You can arrange for the item to be returned to the seller, sent to another US address, or disposed of. Return or forwarding costs are your responsibility.
  3. If we don't hear from you within [30] days, we may dispose of the item.

If a restricted item reaches Jamaica without a permit, Jamaica Customs may hold, seize or destroy it. Customs decisions are outside our control, and any fees or penalties they charge are your responsibility.

This list covers the most common items but isn't complete. Jamaica Customs and airline rules have the final say. When in doubt, ask us first.
